Event Details:

MANDATORY Caravan Trip Parent MeetingSunday May 6th from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. – Milwaukie Presbyterian Church – This is a meeting for the parents/guardians of those youth who are planning to attend the 2012 Caravan Trip. We will be passing out information about the trip and giving out forms that will need to be filled out. This is a mandatory meeting for the parents. So please have at least one of your parents attend this meeting.

MANDATORY Caravan Trip Youth MeetingSunday May 6th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Hillsboro Presbyterian Church – All youth planning to attend the 2012 Caravan Trip to Memphis, TN will need to attend this meeting. We will be meeting with the youth of our partner church, Hillsboro Presbyterian Church, at their location. Come for continue community building and to get more information on our trip.

The One Great Hour of Sharing Offering

The One Great Hour of Sharing Offering will be received this Sunday April 8th: Give Generously. Bring healing and hope to some of the world’s most desperate situations through outreach programs of the Presbyterian church with your gifts to this much needed offering.

Accompanist/Organist (part-time) – Milwaukie Presbyterian Church

Music is a vital part of our creative and vibrant worship. Our congregation includes people of diverse experiences and tastes. We seek a musician who has demonstrated experience accompanying choirs and congregations on piano and organ.

Our music department features:

  • Choir
  • Grand piano
  • Pipe organ
  • Hand bell set

Additional skills include:

  • Facility on the organ and piano, experience accompanying soloist, choirs, and congregations.
  • Knowledge of various music styles in worship
  • An ability to relate well to all ages.
  • Availability to work at one Sunday morning service and Wednesday choir rehearsals.
  • Flexibility to work Christmas Eve, Holy Week, Easter, and special events.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.

The salary for this position is approximately $827/month
