Milwaukie Presbyterian Church is an open and inclusive congregation guided by faith in Christ.
Music is a vital part of our creative and vibrant worship. Our congregation includes people of diverse experiences and tastes. We seek a musician who has demonstrated experience accompanying choirs and congregations on piano and organ.
Our music department features:
- Choir
- Grand piano
- Pipe organ
- Hand bell set
Additional skills include:
- Facility on the organ and piano, experience accompanying soloist, choirs, and congregations.
- Knowledge of various music styles in worship
- An ability to relate well to all ages.
- Availability to work at one Sunday morning service and Wednesday choir rehearsals.
- Flexibility to work Christmas Eve, Holy Week, Easter, and special events.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
The salary for this position is approximately $827

Taking down the greens!
2012-01-05 19:47:30Anyone have a couple hours on this Saturday 1/7 to help take down the Christmas tree and garland in the sanctuary? Nancy and Kelley would really appreciate your help!! We’re getting together at 1:00 and hope to see you there …… especially if you can climb ladders!
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Weekend, January 15

- 11:15 a.m. Adult Education: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His times and writings. DVD clips including I Have a Dream.
Baptism of the Lord Sunday, January 8
2011-12-29 19:37:47- 10 a.m. Worship. Church school resumes for all ages following worship.
- 11:15 a.m. Adult Education: The Ways of Forgiving. Biblical and modern views about why and how to forgive: summaries, role plays, and discussion.
- 6-7 p.m. Youth & Family Potluck Dinner: This event is for all youth and their families to come and hear about youth events coming up in 2012 . If your child is thinking about attending Confirmation Classes, the Winter or Spring Retreats, the Caravan Trip, or City Camp you should be at this event. There will be some really important information talked about and handed out.
